Head of Technical Services

As Head of Technical Services at Postillion Hotel Breda Biesbosch, you will start from the 15th of July and be responsible for all technical maintenance within the hotel. You move comfortably throughout the hotel and Convention Centre and act as a visible point of contact for colleagues and suppliers. 

You combine technical expertise with a service-minded and approachable attitude. You handle small and medium-sized repairs, plan and oversee preventive maintenance and coordinate with external partners for larger installations. Maintenance requests are handled efficiently and professionally. You work in a structured way, maintain overview and ensure agreements are followed through. 

With your solution-oriented mindset, you quickly identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to a safe and well-functioning environment. That’s how you deliver attention with impact.

This is who you are:

  • You are an experienced technical worker. You have been practicing this great profession for a while. You also have experience managing and complying with maintenance contracts and make sure everything is addressed on time. 
  • You are stress resistant: when something goes wrong you become cheerful instead of panicking. After all, that's the moment when you can show how creative you are and how cleverly you solve everything. 
  • Of course, you are completely up to date with the laws and regulations. For example, you know all about legionella control, HACCP, MVP, NEN Standards, BHV, RI&E and ARBO. 
  • Speaking of BHV...if you have a BHV diploma we consider that a plus. 
  • You’re willing to work a bit longer when necessary. If a major incident occurs at a quarter to five, you stay until it’s resolved.
